Scope

This multidisciplinary conference adopts a broad, integrative perspective by convening professionals from diverse health-related fields - such as medicine, dentistry, nursing, kinesiology, and other allied health disciplines - together with experts in transversal areas like public and community health, education in the health sciences, health innovation, gender-based approaches to care and research, and emerging digital technologies. It encompasses all activity sectors where Information Technologies and Systems intersect with health, driving forward an inclusive and equitable digital transformation of health systems.

General objectives

  • Foster a collaborative environment that brings together academic institutions, healthcare professionals, educators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors to advance health-related innovation, research, and quality of care.

  • Promote dialogue and engagement between the scientific community and leading national and international health science and technology institutions, ensuring that research outcomes inform policy-making and public health strategies.

  • Facilitate the digital transformation of healthcare practices and systems, enhancing patient outcomes, clinical efficiency, and data-driven decision-making through cutting-edge technologies and evidence-based approaches.

  • Encourage the integrated development of various scientific and health disciplines—spanning education, biomedical research, public health, and emerging digital health solutions—to improve citizens’ quality of life and overall societal well-being.

  • Inspire and support early-career researchers, including those from Latin countries, to disseminate their work and contribute to global health knowledge, fostering an environment where new doctoral candidates and future leaders in the field can emerge.

  • Present and debate research results, case studies, policy briefs, and innovation projects from diverse groups in medicine, public health, nursing, dentistry, information technologies, and related areas, paving the way for interdisciplinary breakthroughs.
